Gingerbread

2/3 c molasses
1 egg
1/3 c brown sugar
1/2 c oil
330 grams flour (2 3/4 c)
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp cloves

Preheat oven to 300

Sift together all dry ingredients together.

Mix first four ingredients together. Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Dough should not be too sticky.

Wrap in plastic wrap and place in fridge for several hours or overnight.

Roll out dough 1/8 in thick and cut out cookie shapes. Place on parchment lined baking sheets and bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
