1 c butter
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking powder
360 grams flour (3 c)
Preheat oven to 400
Sift flour and baking powder
In a separate large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour mixture 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Do not chill dough. Roll and cut shapes. Bake 8 - 10 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. Remove cookies to cooling rack to cool.
