Yield: 24 biscuits
300 grams cups of Bisquick, sifted
4 tablespoons cold butter
3/4 cup cold milk, more or less
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
Top Sauce:
3 1/2 tablespoons melted butter
1/3 teaspoon garlic powder
4 T fresh parsley
1/8 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 400 F degrees.
In medium bowl, mix the sifted Bisquick with cold butter with a fork. Don't over mix. There should be small pea sized pieces of butter in the mix. Add milk, cheese and powdered garlic. Do not over mix.
Drop by the spoon full onto 2 greased baking sheets. Bake for 15-17 minutes or until they begin to brown. Right before taking the biscuits out of the oven, melt the 2 1/2 tablespoons butter in the microwave and stir the rest of the ingredients of the sauce. Use a spatula to release the biscuits from the baking sheet. Brush the tops of the biscuits using all of the butter sauce.
